ACT EV inquiry attracts 71 submissions

The ACT Legislative Assembly's Standing Committee on Planning, Transport and City Services is undertaking an Inquiry into barriers to electric vehicle uptake in the ACT, and into potential solutions and incentives to encourage uptake.

Submissions closed in late August, and 71 submissions were received.

The ACT Branch of AEVA made a submission (Submission 49) as did several individual AEVA members, and organisations such as the Australian Trucking Association, Hyundai Motor Company, the ACT Strata Community Association, the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries, the Conservation Council ACT Region, the ACT Council of Social Service. and the ACT Branch of the United Firefighters Union.
