Apologies for the late notice as our branch chair and secretary is still overseas, but on Tuesday the 8th of November, the WA brach will hold its November monthly meeting at UWA Billings Room, Electrical Engineering. As always, the lift stops working after 6 pm, so call Chris on 0418908002 and we'll send it down.

A few big ticket items will be covered, particularly AEVA's submission to the National EV Strategy discussion paper, which can be found here.  We will be pushing this as a topic of conversation with the commonwealth government; while they will take these responses and draft legislation, we can help shape the nature of the changes. 

We'll have a run-down on successful events which AEVA attended in recent weeks, including the Albany Green Fair on the Square, and the Perth-Sydney Marathon where the TOCEVA electric rally car completed the 5400 km journey in just under 10 days. Also, the off-grid solar EV charger at South Metro TAFE is online, so come pay a visit and have some electrons on the house! Just remember, this is only open during business hours.

Then there's the many (many) EV related events coming up in the next few weeks, including the AEVA's Annual General Meeting (online on Thursday 21st November, 5 pm WST) and the re-scheduled Aquakhana!

Finally, we are nearly ready to place a deposit on the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre for the 50th Anniversary of AEVA, Conference and EV Expo. Please get involved and help us paint the town electric blue in November 2023.
