As more Australian households buy electric cars, the demands on public charging infrastructure will grow too.

But the public charging experience in Australia lately has been mixed, with many users reporting frustrations when they get to a charger and it's at best, occupied, and at worst, out of service.

While charging hardware is central to a positive experience, the software - such as the payment system, status map and power levels are crucial bits of the puzzle.

Whether it's finding a charger on a route you've meticulously planned, or if you forgot to plug in the night before, we'll all have to use a public charger at some point, and that experience will temper the enthusiasm for EV uptake, for better or for worse.

Join us on Thursday the 29th of June at 8 pm AEST at for AEVA's next webinar, themed: Unpacking the Public EV Charging Experience.

Our panel consists of those working on the EV charging user interface, as well as integrating hardware and software, and rolling out chargers in remote locations across the nation (detailed biographies to follow).
