Over three big days, a team of 24 volunteers represented Vic AEVA at the Electric SUV Expo in Melbourne

Our enthusiastic crew enjoyed the central location with clear views around the Expo. Our team did a fantastic job helping people learn more about electric drive, and sharing our independent, real world experience as daily EV users. Our information table and EV Fact Sheets were again well received.
Also very well received was another eye-catching conversion thanks to Bryan Drummond. It was a unique drawcard, and living proof that, not long ago, before they went mainstream, the only way to get an EV was to build your own (and the best way to do that was to be part of AEVA!)
Our Vic Director Riz Akhtar was a keynote speaker.
Vic Chair Kath Davies sat on a panel and got some electric You-Tuber vibes. Also sitting was Chris Vanderstock – her fellow winning plaintiff from the landmark High Court case that scrapped the Vic EV tax.
Special thanks again to Secretary Rick Molloy for setting up the roster and bumping in with Bryan and car. Thanks to Brendan Davies for organising name tags, and to Vice-Chair Paul Fallon for bump-out with Bryan. Super thanks to our regional AEVA members attending. And last but not least many thanks again to everyone on the roster:
Paul Fallon, Rick Molloy, Riz Akhtar, James Kirk, Kath Davies, Brendan Davies, Dan Edwards, Richard Laxton, Zofia Laxton, Bryan Drummond, Peter Stevens, Steve Fuery, Daryl Budgeon, Dave Hudspeth, Ruth Hudspeth, Xanthorrhoea West, Tom Danby, Raj Subramanian, Rob Marson, Kate Curnow, John Hill, Kerry Hill, Chandana De Silva, and Petro Georgio.
Well done guys 😊
