Charles is a renewable energy and electric vehicle enthusiast who has owned a Nissan Leaf and Tesla Model 3.  He has a particular interest in charging infrastructure, both within Tasmania as well as long interstate trips.

Charles is currently the vice chair of the Tasmanian branch of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association, and the Tasmanian event co-ordinator of the Tesla Owners Club of Australia.
