SA EV Action Plan Released
The SA Premier and the Minister for Energy and Mining made the announcement at the EV Charging Hub in Franklin St, Adelaide.
The first point covers the plan to roll out a statewide ev charging network with $13 million available to partner with industry to build the network so people can drive EVs all around the state. Range anxiety myth busted!
Also announced today is the plan to transition FleetSA (the government fleet) to electric as soon as possible.
Plans are based on the expectation of price parity by 2025 as well as to lead the way in the transition to electric transport.
They acknowledged that electric vehicles are already cost effective replacements for some existing fleet cars..
AEVA SA was one of the stakeholders invited to make a submission to the EV Strategy in July 2019.
