The government of South Australia has committed over $18 million towards increasing the uptake of electric vehicles, including $13.4 million earmarked for a comprehensive, statewide DC fast charging network.

In addition to charging infrastructure, the SA government plans on substantially increasing the number of EVs in the government vehicle fleet. As these cars are cycled into the second hand market, it adds to the stock of more affordable plug-in options for South Australian buyers.
